This is a 'fantastic' story based on several 'classical' themes. Many people love it because of the parts that 'hit home' in a fun, lighthearted way. The writer was able to make the main character weak and strong at the same time. It is ultimately a tragedy but not of death but rather of spirit. Most people comment to have laughed and cried during reading it. One person said she couldn't stop crying throughout because she recognized the 'set-up' and didn't want the story to end. Two people said that the book changed how they view things and will never forget the story line and character. You can see a few comments at Amazon.com: Customer Reviews: In Bird's Eye.
